It’s a Maine Thing Return Policy
Being a small business on coastal, Downeast Maine does not give us the privilege of handling returns like the big guys. We are small, take great pains in providing you with neat stuff and are pleased to add you to our customer list. Things happen which is why we have structured the return policy that we have in place, however in exchange we anticipate that our customers respect our hard work and scrupulous attention to detail. We have done our best to provide our customers with great stuff, that arrives as represented and in good shape. We will be happy to accept your return and give you a full refund in the same method in which you paid. The following rules apply:
- Returns should be done within 2 weeks of purchase for a full refund
- No returns will be honored without a receipt
- All items should be returned unused and in original packaging unless defective
- If you decide that you need to return an item please contact us by e-mail at your earliest convenience just to give us a heads up.
Return shipping will be paid by the returnee unless item is defective and then we will refund the shipping cost to you in the form of a refund. There will be 10% restocking charge on returns made at the customer’s discretion not on returns of defective merchandise..
Timeframes for returning items need to be adhered to as our product line changes.
